The Big "1"
We've had a very big week. Tuesday Lauren and I had Muffins for Mom. It is a music and movement class for mommy and daughter. We also made a flower pot. It was so fun. She really enjoyed being around other children and she loves music. We tried to make a stone this week for in my garden but she hated it. You mix the cement and she sticks her hands and feet in it. Yeah not a good idea. It is cute and I will treasure it I just wish she would have enjoyed it a bit. Today is her birthday. She is one. Her certificate of citizenship came today too. I was very surprised but I cried. It was so perfect that it came ON her birthday. There was a letter (form letter) from President Bush in with it. We had a birthday lunch at (where else) Bob Evans. She has decided this is THE place to eat. She loves their pot roast (go figure) and their banana bread. I can not believe all that she ate for lunch and then came home and sucked down a bottle too! Her dad bought her a Precious Moments commemorating her 1st birthday. That made me cry too. (Geez maybe I am a tad hormonal?) She looked at me like I was crazy. That's ok I am sure it won't be the last time. We gave her her sandbox today but she doesn't like it yet. But there is so much going on right now. Her Nana is here for a few days and we have been busy running around. She is such a joy! I can not believe that we have been home a month. She has changed so much in that small amount of time. We had to go to the doctor yesterday and she now weighs 19 lbs!! Yeah! I am off to pick up a birthday cake.
