Swings
For those of you wondering about all the noise coming from the Billman's this weekend...Chris and I had decided sometime in the winter that this year we were going to get the girls a swing set. Lauren just loved it when we'd go to the park and sometimes didn't want to come home. But first a few dead tress had to come down on Friday. It was very sad for all of us. But Lauren is very concerned about where the birds will live now. Chris had a 4 day weekend this weekend (Thank you very much Ford) so we decided that we'd get it this weekend. Of course our very shy oldest daughter kept yelling at us to swing and we want to keep her happy. So after several weeks of shopping around we decided on one that Costco sells. we went up Saturday morning to pick it up. She was so excited and was bouncing around in the cart and her car seat yelling SWING!!!!!!!!!!!! Chris came home and looked at me and said did you read this? Of course not. Well it came with an installation DVD and it takes 2 people 40 hours to put it together. And in my sweetest wife voice I smiled and said you can do anything I have faith. Well it is Monday night and the end of his 4 day weekend. He is exhausted but his daughter is thrilled. Funny how no matter how much progress he made all she did was look at him with the saddest little face and ask Swing daddy? We laughed and said there is nothing quite like a sad little girl face to let you know you have ruined everything. Chris is proud of himself since it really only took about 20 hours Her swing is up and we had to pry her away this evening. She was falling asleep on it she had been swinging so long. Here's to tomorrow and another day on the prized swing set. I do have to say though anyone looking for a swing buy the one at Costco. It's not cheap but if you want to have fun with you kids it's a great value. I am not a small person and the slide, swing and fort all hold me. Actually the Fort held me, Chris and my dad all at once. I am very impressed!
