Ice Cream

So does the year seem to be flying for you too? We have had a very crazy year here so I guess that is helping it to fly on by. We had a picnic to celebrate Chris's birthday Saturday. It was nice. Just family but nice none the less. Sunday we hit IKEA. The store opened at the beginning of June but we were waiting for it to get a bit quieter. Sunday night was a good time. No problem finding a parking spot or anything. Lauren had a ball checking out the big kid beds. (More coming on that soon as we change her over to a big kid bed.) We also had fun looking at bedding for her room. Hard to believe she is ready for a big bed. So we are leaving and Chris said let's have some ice cream. Lauren is riding up to the counter yelling ICE CREAM, ICE CREAM!!! she had her first official ice cream cone tonight. She did really well with it. She thought it was fun to bite the cone. Sunday I got some much needed mommy time and went to lunch with my friend. I hadn't seen her since Lauren's birthday. We had a good time and it was kid free. :-)
