We FINALLY got Lauren there for her birthday. She was so patient with us. When I apologized to her she said well I didn't think we'd get there till school was out anyway! Awesome!
We took her up there this past weekend and we had to split so not much family time :-( Maya likes the little rides and Lauren likes the big rides. So Maya and I bounced from one kid section to the next and Lauren and her dad rode all the big roller coasters she was tall enough for! She is just a sliver under 48" so it wasn't too many. Both she and her father are waiting till she grows that tiny bit. He is so glad he now has a buddy to go with. Both of them had no voices on the way home from screaming on those crazy rides!
The girls were amazing. We opened and closed the park, neither complained the whole day about how much walking they did but both promptly fell asleep in the parking lot.
Lauren talked the WHOLE ride up. I asked her on the way out if she planned to talk the whole way home and she said she didn't think she could :-)
Hope all the dad's out there had a great Father's Day. I know we did. :-)
