Finally

Our ship has come in. lol  we got the call yesterday that our things had made it safely thru customs and are ready for delivery.  Of course nothing can be seamless. :-) Our 40 ft container was to large to fit our our new street so they had to break it up into smaller trucks.  It will take 2 days to deliver.  That's fine.  I will finally have my kitchen, bed and pillow!  I am very spoiled and found it frustrating to cook with ONE pan and ONE bowl to mix things in.  I didn't want to buy more as mine were "on the way"  while it will be an insane few days I am feeling incredibly excited.  It will be like Christmas all over!!

    I can relate. Unpacking after my three year reno from hell has been like Christmas. So many things I forgot I had, so many I wish I could have enjoyed the past three years, so many things that mean so much more now that my mother is gone. I am still trying to get my kitchen back in order. I had company for dinner on Thursday night, which was very short notice (best friend and her sister, home for family death) took me twice as long because I couldn't find anything, some of it not unpacked yet and some I couldn't remember where I had put things and what I had gotten rid of. I know you are delighting in more than one pot and bowl!

So many things I forgot I had, so many I wish I could have enjoyed the past three years, so many things that mean so much more now that my mother is gone. I am still trying to get my kitchen back in order.
