This has been an incredible learning experience for all of us.
One thing that has been fantastic is that I am once again allowed to hang my laundry outside. I love the smell of the fresh air on our things and I miss this. Back home we are not allowed to have a clothes line according to our HOA. Not only is it environmentally friendly but so much more efficient. We have Barbie sized washers (and dryers) here but to do a load and hang it out I can get caught up in one afternoon. I also have been told that electricity is expensive but I haven't learned that yet. Apparently they bill you quarterly. I am terrified to see it! I know what it was like in the states monthly.
It finally feels like home.
So glad things are coming together for you now. :) Can't wait to see pictures of your home now that your stuff is all settled in place :)
ReplyDeleteHanging out clothes is the best. Can't imagine getting an electric bill quarterly. Maybe because it is so low, they don't need to send it more often! As in the previous comment, can't wait to see pictures. What is your street address, at least we can look at Google Earth?
