Poor Chris!

He has no idea what is in store for him. Lauren was very upset when I picked her up from school a few weeks ago. All the little girls in her class have pierced ears...and she doesn't. I told her to talk to her dad. Well she tried but didn't get far. She and I went to the dollar store and they had the little earring stickers. So I quietly tucked them into our basket so I could discuss it with Chris first. He Ok'd it and I gave them to her. She was so happy. She had on a pair yesterday and proudly showed them off. She was so mad when I took them off at bed time. I told her she could have them back in the morning. Boy she didn't forget either. The second I got her up today she was reminding me! I had the luxury of having 4 days away from everyone last week so I could go to Columbus for our annual shopping trip. Chris took vacation and stayed with his girls. It was his idea for me to go but don't worry I was hit up for a new tool in the process. I have never been so homesick in my life! I really missed the girls. (Chris too) When I walked in Lauren said Mommy shopping for baskets. Then she promptly stole one of them from me! I got the chance to weave a basket for free because I have new person on my Longaberger team. It was a recipe basket. I already have two of them so now the one I wove is in her TOY box of all places. I know I know. But she loves it so I am not arguing. Maya is now sitting up. I was talking with my mom when all of a sudden I heard screams from her room...and I hadn't turned her monitor on yet. I RAN up the stairs to see her sitting in her crib. I guess she couldn't figure out how to get back down? So I laid her down, she grabbed her puppy and went to sleep. Too funny. Lauren thinks it is so cool that Maya has a puppy too.
