One month in

Wow. It has somehow been one month already. Time has mostly flown as we worked hard to get settled into some sort of routine again.

We mostly have!  I am pretty impressed. The girls love school and are learning so many different things. Maya has always wanted to garden and she has the chance at school. It's been great for her. Lauren is really going to step up her dancing here.  The girls have either gone or are just about to go on field trips. It is so different here. In the U.S. You get a paper that asks permission which you need to sign for your kid to go plus a form asking for $$ for your kid to go. Here you get an email your kid is going here and will be gone until 3. See ya. Or in Maya's case next month she will be gone unt 8:30 pm so there is a note that says they have been gone all day please promptly pick them up at 8:30. :)). No problem as I will be excited to hear about the days adventures!!  There are 3 teachers and only 43 students in Maya's grade so they rarely ask for volunteers

I am starting to slowly branch out in my driving.

Weekends have been awesome family time. Today we went for a drive and found a field of Kangaroos.
Pretty cool thing to see while out. They are out like deer in the U.S.
